The development of Arabic language teaching and learning

In response to the urgent need to make a quantum leap in the teaching of the Arabic language, and improve outcomes, the Association adopted a comprehensive project for the development of Arabic language teaching and learning, represented in a number of programs, including the construction documents the Arabic language curricula and strategies taught, preparation and implementation of the unified comprehensive curriculum to teach Arabic. As well as teacher training, and develop their abilities, and raise competencies, and Tmhanhm, modeling methods for performance and teaching methods, and evaluation of academic achievement and the development of the school environment, and the development of language dictionaries, school, and the development of school libraries.

Goals

Raise the level of teaching and learning of the Arabic language.

Develop a comprehensive and unified to teach Arabic language and learning curriculum.

Definition of effective teaching methods to teach Arabic suit different age groups.

Design and implementation of activities in the Arabic language contribute to the linguistic knowledge and mastery connection.

The application of methods and methods of assessment appropriate to develop the language and the teaching of Arabic and learning.

The development of methods to choose the Arabic language teachers and prepare them and raise competencies, and the level of performance, in the light of recent trends.

The development of school libraries to serve the Arabic language teaching and learning.

Activating the role of technology, and the media’s role to serve the Arabic language teaching and learning.

Outputs

Consolidated statement of comprehensive curriculum in the Arabic language in general education levels in the Member Association countries, and included six volumes:

Elements of a comprehensive approach.

Listening, speaking and formulas applicable to primary school children.

Lexicon language for primary school children.

TMS necessary for the application.

Models proposed for the methods of performance and teaching methods through public education (grades 1-12)

Appendices included a series of achievement tests in various stages of education, and models of the answers for achievement tests, and the proposed implementation of the Comprehensive Approach through public education guide.

Construction documents Mnahd Arabic language and strategies taught, came in four volumes:

Surveys in the Arabic language curricula and construction planning in the member states the association.

Normative and procedural manuals for planning elements of the Arabic language curricula and authored and taught.

Document the linguistic content of the basic language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) through public education in the light of specific scientific criteria.

Training packages for builders Arabic language curricula and supervisors to apply them in the classroom (1-12) through public education.

Reference guide in the teaching methods and evaluate the efficiencies of academic achievement for students of public education in the Arabic language (including software).

School environment to improve the development of Arabic language teaching and learning, and came in two volumes:
